The precision of the EDS Dermastamp enables the Aesthetic Nurse to accurately control the treatment intensity as they can adjust the needle depth and speed depending on the area being treated and the clinical condition of the skin.

The EDS Skin Rejuvenation procedure has good comfort level and this will normally be made more so, by your Aesthetic Nurse applying a topical anaesthetic cream to the treatment area before hand. A Dermaroller skin hydrating and enhancing solution to the treatment area to help the needle tip move smoothly over the surface of the skin. Alternatively, they may use the Dermaroller CIT Advanced Mesotheraphy Solution to further enhance the procedure and treatment results.

After EDS Skin Rejuvenation procedure your body will start to naturally regenerate and repair the skin, working below the surface in the dermis. This takes time as new collagen is formed, new skin cells are generated and blood supply is enhanced. It can take up to six weeks before visible signs of regeneration and repair are seen and the process will continue over the following months, providing you with a natural and long lasting enhancement.

Staff will normally recommend that your EDS Skin Rejuvenation from Genuine Dermaroller Therapy consists of a series of 3 procedures with approximately six weeks between them. Depending on your particular skin complaint it may be necessary to increase the number of treatments required.
After Procedure Skincare
​
Immediately after your EDS Skin Rejuvenation procedure you will look as though you have moderate sunburn and your skin may feel warm and tighter than usual. This will start to subside after one to two hours and will normally recover within the same day with only slight redness the following day. Your Aesthetic Nurse may well apply post procedure recovery cream after the treatment to help soothe and calm the skin.

Use tepid water to cleanse the face until the redness has gone, and dry gently, always make sure your hands are clean when touching the treated area. It is recommended that make up is not applied for 12 hours after the procedure although staff may be able to supply you with specialist mineral make up that they feel would be suitable for use during this period.

Applying a Dermaroller Mask after the treating the face to to help intensively hydrate and replenish the treated skin during its early stage of regeneration.

Heliocare UV Protection
Application of high level sun protection is recommended after the procedure. AesthetiCare recommend one of the Heliocare high or very high protection SPF50 of SPF50+ products. Continue to apply this on a daily basis for a least two weeks even during the winter or on cloudy days.

In the days following your EDS Skin Rejuvenation procedure as the skin starts to regenerate and repair it may well feel drier that normal. Additional medigrade skincare products such as Endocare would be recommended to use to optimise the procedure.
